HUNGRY MINDS SINKS ITS TEETH INTO THE FUTURE

As we know, our sector is experiencing a tough time at the moment: AI, the financial crisis and other crises, the democratisation of creative tools, brands that are sometimes too cautious, sometimes too indiscrete, changes in legislation, etc. So, what about it?

As a creative agency, above all, we want to move forward and say WHAT THE F…uture!! When you think about it, everything changes, but our role will always be to ADVISE, SURPRISE & COLLABORATE. We simply need to do it even better. Every day, we need to be a little sharper, more curious and more agile than the day before.

Faced with such exciting challenges, it is the right time to reposition ourselves.

Two years after regaining our independence (how wonderful!), we have decided to remove branding from our activity and entrust it to the experts at our sister company the KINGSIZE studio, quite simply to fulfil our role as a creative agency and focus entirely on our brand building mission.

Becoming a key partner in Brand Building

This ambition is reflected in a new positioning: HUNGRY FOR THE TRUTH.

One question drives our thinking every day: is it TRUTH or is it noise?

70% of consumers believe that brands communicate too much, to the point that they no longer pay attention, while 34% have stopped buying from a brand because of excessive marketing*. Noise from over-communication is becoming a real economic risk and we do not want our customers to take this risk.

Helping brands create moments of truth with their tribes

At the agency, our obsession is to connect the essence of our clients’ brands with what is true for people, for their tribes, what really strikes a chord with them, with the aim of forging lasting ties that define a brand’s appeal and success, creating moments of truth that are essential in building a brand.

In these troubled times, brands should serve as points of reference, creating strong and sincere links. They can no longer rely on simply being liked, they must be useful, credible and honest.

These are the brands that we want to help, encourage, promote and share with the world, brands which know that a bland campaign is riskier than standing out.

We decide what we really want to get our teeth into…

Our new baseline: truth with teeth.

We embrace our independence (which is becoming rare on the market). We sincerely believe we are a good choice of partner to sink our teeth into the quest for such truth and into our customers’ issues, even the tough ones.

It is our natural curiosity and freedom of action that allows us to choose to get so heavily involved in these sorts of missions.

Hence our name… ;-)

No compromises between creativity and integrity

Our independence also means we have the chance of being genuine, creating frank, sincere and honest relationships with our customers. We are well aware that their challenges are becoming more and more complicated. Having Hungry Minds, as well as C-level, working with conviction and honesty on their projects is, in our opinion, a strong response.

To do this, everyone should be in their right place in the field.

To provide support for this change, everybody’s roles within the agency have been clarified.

Stéphane Henry has become CEO and Emmanuel Briard is now Executive Chairman of Hungry Minds. The strategic division is led by Xavier Scheuer and Damien Ronday, who has taken on the role of Chief Creative Strategist. Meanwhile, creative management is headed by our Creative Directors Jérémy Paul and Geoffrey Hanot.

Another noteworthy addition is Florence Roekens, who has joined us to strengthen the Account Managers team and bring her senior expertise to the role.

Our commitment to supporting exciting new brands

In addition to our most loyal customers, such as WALIBI, CHIMAY, LETEC, THOMAS & PIRON, BIGMAT, etc., some great brands with interesting challenges have decided to bring HUNGRY MINDS on board: VACHE BLEUE, DILÉA, PLUM’ART and just recently KIABI.

Last but not least, our brand-new offices in Namur!

Believing in the future also means ensuring that your teams feel as comfortable as possible. Following a highly collaborative consultation process, we have invested in a complete refurbishment of our offices, with more space, greater comfort, and better facilities. It is the team’s dedication and loyalty that have underpinned the agency’s success for many years.
